How to determine the Protein Concentration with the Bradford Assay

Показать описание
Hey Friends,
protein quantification techniques are used to determine the total concentration of protein in a solution. One among many colorimetric assays for this is the Bradford Assay developed by Marion Bradford. The assay is easy to perform and delivers results in a short time. The Bradford test is based on Coomassie Brilliant Blue G250, a dye which binds to proteins in an acidic environment.

Hello. In so many articles i read that coomassie blue transfers a free electron to the protein and this causes denaturation. Can anyone pls explain where this free electron comes from?
