Ive been riding for a year and i have been practicing lately the squiddy science of 20 cm whelies, it begun as an accident in second gear, then i realized that i could force it with the clutch, a month later i got a ticket for doing that in front of cops but i convinced the judge that it was an accident.

I've been watching your channel since I was, oh, 14 or 15. I'm 19 now and I'm finally about to get my first bike. Thank you for both inspiring me to get a bike, and helping me with safety and proper operation.

I worked in a bike shop months after starting out. I've only ever wheeled when not trying, only ever lighting up the back wheel when I did. Predelivering/test riding PW 50s to R1s, cruisers, dirt and everything in-between. The most important things I learnt and still practice are wrist control and holding the bike up when the tyres washout.

I don't do wheelies, too old, and I use all of the gears. I do agree and practice having a lot of distance between vehicles both in front of me and behind me, I abhor cars that creep up on my rear and a twist of the wrist is my way of escaping them, of course, when there's enough room in front of me to do so. I find that speed can actually be my friend.

Long wheelies can lead to smoked engine parts. I’ve had to replace a crank bearing on a GSXR because he rode a wheelie so long that it stopped picking up oil from the stock oil pick up.

That intro almost made me send you my kidney lol
BTW, a huge thank you for your channel!
I started riding this sesason, after 9 years of having my A2 license here in Austria.
This week, I got sent my A license in the mail, and can't wait to test out a bunch of my favourite bikes (all of which you recommended btw) next year.
Your channel has been a huge inspiration, and helped me learn to ride my Kawasaki Z300 in a very fun and safe way.
Keep up the good work, and big up from Austria <3

Yess.. Big fan of being the fastest vehicle (not even by much) keeps you in control of all encounters and requires less neck twisting.. eyes on the road.

A lot of this stuff they teach you (save popping a wheelie) in your Prelearner course in Australia, before you're even allowed to go on the roads.
