The Goldwing imo is the best on the list. I guess there's a reason it was and is number one.

I had the Vulcan vaquero, the bagger version of the voyager. Great bike and got it as a leftover bike for 14k 5 years ago. You can’t beat it at that price. Another plus is it was way more comfy than my Harley once I put a mustang seat on it. I put 35000 miles on it in 2 years. ❤❤

I'm 48, no grandchildren and have an HD Streetglide special. I know it's fun to hate Harleys but I really like it and can't wait until it warms up a bit here in Utah. I considered a Goldwing but I didn't think I was THAT old, I'm sure they are nice though.

See kids, RadioShack used to be an electronics store where you could find lots of weird, cool, shiny electronics.

I own a dual clutch machine in a semi urban area with tons of stop and go traffic. I love the simplicity of not needing to tend a 6 speed gearbox. Hang on and enjoy.

A K1600 GTL would a great deal at USD 16, 895, but it's MSRP is 10k more.

you forgot to go up one step from the Challenger into the Pursuit, but other than fully bagged out seems to be essentially the same bike haha! thanks for the comparisons!

Good video. One issue. The 22 K1600 GTL STARTS at $27, 500. Not sure where you got $16, 000, but if that was the case, GoldWing wouldn’t sell any bikes. I had 2019 GTL that was on sale for $22K. . .Good news is a used 2019 with very low mileage are only $14-$16K, so that is an option that makes a lot of sense. I traded mine for a T120 Bonnie and never looked back.

A bike I noticed that didn't make the list in the BMW section was the R18. I'm not a BMW simp by any means, but if you're talking about touring bikes, it may deserve a mention

After a different seat and bar risers, I can do lots of miles on my Ninja 1000. I slid on oil and dropped my 1981 CB900c at a gas station many years ago and could barely pickup those 688lbs. Can't imagine screwing up and trying to pick up 800lb+

Yes, do the touring giveway.
It would be fun to watch that video.

2:40 Just for the record touring bikes are not only for old men. I would get a touring bike since they are so comfortable, and I do long distance rides every once in a while. A sports bike will kill my back after like 20 mins and even a cruiser will start to hurt going 80mph+ for more than an hour. A touring bike just blocks more wind and is super nice to ride.

You showed a PC800 (Pacific Coast) picture in the GW segment..I had one of those. #3 Is my BMW Dad bike...nice. Besides the GW the only sane choices are the Honda or BMW.

My formative riding years were the 60’s and 70’s which coincided with the AMF days for Harley, those were the days when Harley riders had to have a truck and trailer bring up the rear to pick up the dead soldiers so I automatically cross Harley off my list!
