What is a superset?
A superset is when you perform a set of two different exercises back-to-back with minimal rest in between. This can be done with opposing movements like push/pull or with totally separate body parts. Normal exercise programming usually has you performing all assigned sets of the first exercise before moving on to a second one. With supersets you'll perform the first set of the second exercise right after completing the first set of the first exercise, before doing the second set of the first exercise.
