in the long run, this would’ve happened:

taiwan would probably remain japanese like okinawa

manchuria would gain independence as a separate state alongside tibet, xinjiang and mongolia,

british china and french china would unite in a cameroon type situation to form the chinese republic.

I do believe there would be a situation similar with finland where the tsar may be duke of mongolia and xinjang, but I dont believe with that much at stake that the occupiers of china wouldnt try to this land during the civil I do believe they would be successful with britain gettin the most out of it possibly a puppet/bufferstate/government in exile with Ungern von Sternberg and pyotr wrangle
