11:40 the nightmare before Christmas is why. For the majority of the time the movie has existed most people saw “Tim Burton’s” in front of the title and assumed that meant he directed it, on top of that all of the movies usually do have very similar styles to his, I mean compare The nightmare before Christmas, corpse bride, Frankenweenie and Coraline’s characters to each other and try to tell me that they don’t look like they’d come from the same person.

Ohh, Coraline. I'm still sad I missed when it was in theatres again for the remaster. It's a good movie! The book is also very good, and Wybie is not actually in the book. Apparently they added him so that Coraline wouldn't just be talking to herself all the time or something.

Also, a ring of mushrooms is considered a fairy circle. Some believe that they're bad luck, and that humans that enter them might encounter fae/fairies or some other being that will do them harm. They're also kinda common around wells b/c of moisture and stuff.
