Shouldn't be a problem if you keep your chain clean

Hot waxing is the way. Once you are set, all it takes is 10 minutes every 300-400km. No grease, no stains, and your chain and drivetrain will last FOREVER. Today I melted the wax while riding on the smart trainer. When I finished riding, I took off my chain and put it in the hot wax, left it there for 5 minites, took it out and let it solidify. Meanwhile, I put another waxed chain on the bike. Super fast and easy.

Odd product choice at the end, which is a good wax drip-on. You'd think an oil-based lube would be a better contrasting choice to make their point.

Waxing includes deep cleaning. So comparing waxing with just drip on lubes seems disingenuous.

Nah waxing in MTB is a short lived lubrication, when its mudy go wet lube washbit after then dry go with any lube as long as you wipe the excess. On road bike same applies actually just wipe the excess haha
