They have open circulatory system? Thats a serious disadvantage to a large creature especialy if they intend to be a predator. There is a signicantly smaller proportion of blood that can exchange chemicals, oxygen and minerals to organs in open circultory system, versus closed circulatory system where the nutrients can be distributed all over in and out the organs. Its like dipping an organ in nutrients vs. injecting with nutrients. Unless their organs and muscles are like sponges, (and thus so alot more fragile) they are slower in movement and in healing and reacting.
