I love the tau being like “nah they’re fine we accept everyone” and then only started blasting after they did

The Tau learned way faster than the Imperium did.

Ten years is pretty impresively fast considering things usually unfold within hudred of years in the setting

Only the Tau would see a body-horror infection fucking up their planet and think "this is fine".

"We accepted the difference because this is our tolerant philosophy.
-More because a 3 armed worker is more efficient.
-Shut up Craig."

The funny thing is that the Tau developed technology to cure Gene-stealer cultists during this and the Inquisition shat themselves when they found this out.

Wow 10 years purging the infected world? That is really impressive

_During a diplomatic lull, the Tau really should have asked the Imperium for a heads up on all the serious threats out there._
"Ok, first there are the Dark Eldar … really? You fell for that? OME [Oh My Emperor]… sorry, . Ahem.
On a related subject there's Chaos, oh we've got a lot to warn you about there - seriously don't mess with that stuff, both of our teams don't need to have to deal with a splinter group going rogue from you lot.

Now for Necron Tomb Worlds … let me be clear here … *Don't wake them up.*
For all our sakes."

Ngl, a short animation about fire caste needing to clear out Genestealers sounds really cool to watch.

Since unlike marines or some guard, Tau are so naive to the idea of Genestealers it would be super tense.

Ah yes let's just accept the random 4 armed Tau that look completely different and alien that only showed up soon after the Nid was captured

Its mildly wholesome to see the Tau having to slowly understand the galaxy. I mean it sucks for them but the wholesome naivete is appreciated

Ten years is a fairly short time for clearing out gene stealer to be honest. I say the Tau absolutely have the win on this one. Their smaller empire is an advantage to them here. In the Tau empire it is much easier to keep track of where everyone is so containing the quarantine is much easier.

Damn bro the T'au really did pull some ruthless efficiency in that cleansing. For an alien threat that they accepted and let spread, that can hide in people unseen, only taking 10 years to clear is impressive.

Good job on the purging, T'au, it'd make even a Black Templar proud.

As far as dealing with tyranids goes this went actually pretty well

I can imagine they cleared out that infection faster than the imperium because of a series of reasons, like the planet not being a hive world for example

This is the T'au lore i like. Their naivety biting them in their ass but their skills and logical mindset allowing them to fix the issue and live on while also keeping memory and the consequences of their mistakes.
