From my own experience with HIIT versus steady state, HIIT made me sweat more, made me more tired, made me feel hungrier, and was just far more efficient to my lifestyle. When you're a student taking exams who still needs time to relax and chill with friends, HIIT fits in with life so much better.

I do hiit at Taco Bell. I'll eat a burrito super fast and take about 10 second break before I eat another one. I repeat this process about 10-15 burritos. I'm not really losing weight tho. Maybe I'm doing it wrong

I used to do HIIT fairly regularly when I was trying to lose weight a few years back. It really helped me break through a plateau.

Holy hell, I've been using HIIT without knowing it.

I adore this channel! I am very picky about subscribing and I normally need to see much more than just one or two quality videos in order to do so, but in this case with one I had more than enough. All the complexity of fitness world put into layman's terms. :) Thank you so much, it helps a lot.

Funny thing is, most people compare one session of HIIT with one session of low-intensity cardio and then draw their conclusions. But it needs to be looked at from a larger perspective. If you can only do HIIT a few times per week, and low intensity cardio every day, youre going to end up burning way more calories with low intensity.

I'm not saying one is better than the other, I believe each has their ups and downs, but just pointing out that every single video I see on the subject always neglects to really compare both in a more in-depth fashion.

Your channel is a GOD SEND. I'm in the middle of working out and researching/learning to understand what I need to be doing so I don't waste time and energy. LOVE YOU FOR THIS

3 x per week for 3 minutes (40 sec cruise 20 sec sprint) after resistance training and I'm in the best shape of my life. Fuck steady state boring cardio.

HIIT can be fun but more then three times per week you might crash into a wall. its overly taxing

Been watching tons of your videos lately, really cool seeing you’ve been doing this for 4 years

yes, it is extremely difficult to schedule hiit 3x a week, because it's hard to sprint after leg day. that's why i do it on leg day.

your videos are absolutely amazing...they are simple enough for beginners but still very interesting for intermediate or advanced athletes!

HIIT is the only thing that has helped me lose weight fast. in one month of dieting and HIIT (6 times a day) I lost 25 pounds. Now I'm doing HIIT in the morning and either soccer training at nights or weights.. it gets addicting after seeing results.

The music is a bit annoying in this one...

I do high intensity cardio everyday (sprint 30 sec, jog 30 sec) and have been doing it for quite a while now. I don't have any joint problems -- yet. I enjoy doing it. I prefer running than any other form of exercise. My trainer assigned this exercise to me to do on my own time outside of the gym. Everyone at my gym has their own cardio plan designed for them by the trainer.

i basically did a HIIT thing for 3 months, although idk it was HIIT, to me it was just going for a run 60 minutes every day, i would run, then take a break and walk, and then run again all through it. it was great, i was feeling energized and i lost about 3 inches off my waist after 3 months

My experience with hiit workouts is exactly what you explained in the video. I would try to do 6 days straight of hiit workouts (30 mins long) and I would drop out day 3 or 4 because it was just too straining. Keep in mind I'm also a ukrainian dancer who is use to 3/4 hour practices. Even then hiit is difficult. Thanks to your video I will only do hiit workouts with a combination of a rest day ( or dance day). Thanks for all the information and videos! Love them

yes I absolutely choose it over traditional cardio, it's helps a lot a lot as a complement for other sports practice, especially because you get use to recover fast after reaching fatigue.
