You also may enjoy this...I'm Jamaican so I know this isn't traditional in any asian culture, but...


I crush scotch bonnet into a paste, add garlic, onion, pimento, ginger (a lot of it), scallion, thyme, a bit of brown sugar and a teaspoon of all purpose seasoning (Jamaican one), a little bit of browning for colour. Then I add warm oil to cook the seasoning a little and I like to add that to my noodles.
