I saw a female judge tell them the same thing. Court is not a marriage counselor. You cannot call the police on someone when you get mad then take it back and want charges dropped REPEATEDLY.

I agree when he said that he could put a no-contact order in the bond agreement and then he can punish her for not following the terms of her bond. Sometimes people need to be forced into separating from a bad relationship. Move on and find a better one or better yet, remain single until you can figure out how to be with someone without fighting.

Truth is, domestic violence are childhood abuse is the largest single precipitant to the crimes this judge seems to view as valid and serious.

I'm completely behind Judge Stephens with one caveat. Dismiss the case entirely. Because as much as he has venom for the defendant in front of him, he should have venom for the complaintant as well. This is a faulty relationship case where BOTH PARTIES are obviously at fault for continuing this toxic mess, and it seems that people are playing with the legal system and wasting valuable time like the judge said. And since it seems that the complaintant didn't even bother to show up since this is so "important, " then there seems to me to be no sense in leaving room for a future amount of money and time wasting over two immature individuals who just want attention and no accountability.
