RAW: Judge and Brice Rhodes exchange words in court

Triple-murder defendant Brice Rhodes on Tuesday was defiant in court, smiling at spectators and telling the judge that "smiling is not a crime."

"I'll do what I want to do, let's get that understood," Rice told the judge.

Rhodes has accused Jefferson Circuit Court Judge Charles Cunningham of denying all of his motions to dismiss and to suppress evidence in the case, saying the judge was showing favoritism to the prosecution.

There needs to be a new judge. That judge HAS the authority to shut him down. I've never seen a judge at that level present himself as being as weak as this judge has.

Imagine if the judge is badass enough, he would've replied him with "From now on, it is a crime to smile, and I hereby charge you with countless attempts of misconduct in court, hereby sentencing you twenty five to life until you are deemed fit enough to stand another trial with proper attitude." This would shave off 4 years of misery for the children's grandmother and do the society a major favor.
