Hi Alex! Freediver here. I absolutely applaud you for making the most of the proximity to the loch but you should always try to avoid diving alone. Shallow water blackout can always catch you out and this could be fatal if you don't have a buddy. I'd also double check your weight belt to ensure you're not over weighted - again if you get into trouble you don't want too much weight on your waist. A good way to check is to put the belt on with all the equipment, position yourself upright in the water toes pointing down and completely exhale. If you're properly weighted your mask should just be under the surface of the water. Too heavy and you'll continue to sink, too light and you'll be bobbing with your head above the surface. ANYWAY - lecture over. Hit me up if you ever want a diving buddy - cheers!

There's always more to his videos than just a "staying at a cabin" and I think that's wonderful! 😁

Good video Alex, really enjoyed it. Made me want to stay here. Clicked the link and was a bit disappointed tbh. No children allowed, max of 2 people to stay here, no friends allowed to visit, earliest check in 3.30pm, check out by 10.30am, minimum 2 night stay @ £235 a night. That £470 for 43 hours of cabin use. I guess if you can afford that for 2 nights and have extra money for all your food, plus don't have kids it would be a nice experience.

Love this video Alex. Your videos are so calming and informative with great filming. I'm trying not to be irritated by the comment below that this cabin experience is so 'middle class'. We all watch You Tube videos for different reasons, for information and enjoyment. Just because I, for instance, really enjoy good crime documentaries, it doesn't mean that I'm a criminal or potential serial killer (at the age of 77 its too late to pursue a criminal career 😂). I also love wild nature even though I can no longer explore a wilderness, go camping and attempt to ascend a rocky outlook. It is better to look into and enjoy other peoples worlds and experiences in order to have a wider understanding and outlook on life. Carry on as you have been doing Alex, don't be swayed by others who would stop following you. Your number of subscribers tells us that you are doing great.

Going through a terrible mix of a break up and depression and your video cheered me up. Only thing that made me smile today

Scotland is on my bucket list... not too far to travel from Wales.
Alex you're adorable - the loch is slightly over seasoned. Classic!
Oysters are a very expensive mouthwash. I've never tried cooked oysters.
Another totally beautiful experience watching your video. Live, love, laugh.
Namaste, Alex

There's a few places to see red squirrels in england! Largely islands (Brownsea island is known for it, pretty sure the Isle of Wight too). But also a few heaths and woodlands have managed to somehow keep the greys out. I spent a night on brownsea a number of years ago and saw so many red squirrels!

My partner and I stayed about a mile from Loch Etive 7-11th June. The weather was hot aside from a wonderful thunderstorm on the last night. We also enjoyed some delicious fresh seafood and had magnificent encounters with nature. No midgie bites for us not being near the water in the evenings! Scotland is beautiful and totally underrated 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🦀🦪🦞🦐🌲
