Researchers Carry Out Check On Oyster Cages In The Solent

The Solent Oyster Restoration Project is well underway.

It sees adult oysters in cages which are hung under pontoons, in hope they will spawn, and establish wild oyster beds.

When checking on the cages though, researchers often find that they're not only home to the oysters, but also to other species.
Reason enough for our reporter Nicole Ris to try her luck, and see for herself what species are cohabiting with the molluscs.
