Fun fact *"Marie Curie's daughter, Irène Joliot-Curie, also won a Nobel Prize. She was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1935, along with her husband Frédéric Joliot, for their synthesis of new radioactive elements. This made the Curies the family with the most Nobel laureates to date, with a total of five Nobel Prizes.*

Imagine having this level of respect from all the respected men, they bow to you but not because you're a queen but because of your talent and brilliance! What a lady! The true definition of women empowerment. A myth, a legend. An absolute powerhouse!

She was there not because she is a woman, she was there because she is great. When greatness graces you with its presence proud heads buckle under it's weight, humility is born l, and you acknowledge it's grace. Such is the power grateful minds hold. Forever revered, Madam Curie.

You know humans are on the right path when scientists are celebrated like this

She didn't like being called Curie. She preferred being called Skłodowska-Curie. Skłodowska is her Polish family name, and Curie is her husband's surname. She identified very strongly with Poland, and that is why she named the element she discovered "polonium" from the word "Poland".
