Hi John thank you for your help and expertise. Lets say there is no patent but there is something similar something use for something else. Would that be considered prior art so no patent? Thanks again

Hey John, I am currently working with an engineer to develop an idea I have. I have two questions: 1. My uncle who is gone through the process of getting a patent and he informed me if I were to find a similar patent I would need to infringe on every listed Patent claim in order to be unable to move forwards, is this True? How much does your invention need to differ from prior art to be viable? 2. If I find a patent that was very similar on google patents but the application was denied, does that patent have any jurisdiction? Thank you for your help!

The company is asking me to pay only for search £500, after for the patent and development they say I have to pay, so after it is done I have to pay £3, 000k. Expensive for one idea.

Hello John, appreciate your insights! I'm currently in the process of developing an electronic product that utilizes common ports and circuits from various fields but amalgamates them into a novel configuration for a specific and unique use case, featuring a distinctive shape. I've a question regarding the patentability of such a product. Can I potentially patent this innovation even though the individual components may have been used elsewhere, but when combined, they serve a new and unique purpose? Thanks a lot

I didn't invented it yet, just an idea, should I invented first? Or should be doing a small one? Or just the plan?
