When it comes to computer keyboards, you really are spoiled for choice. In fact, we’ve covered three different keyboards already on this channel.

So, is this the best wireless keyboard we’ve reviewed so far? Let’s find out.

The Razer Pro Ultra is made from an aluminum frame and plastic coating giving the whole keyboard a strong, robust feel.

The backlit keys have a soft-touch coating to prevent fingerprints and improve comfort

Underneath, silent mechanical switches and sound dampening foam help to reduce noise from eager typing.

Function keys and smart controls can also be programmed to perform your favorite tasks automatically.

Performance-wise, the Razer Ultra has very similar specs to the MX keyboard range, and aren’t tactile or clicky at high speeds.

One the rear, you’ve got a physical witch to change between wireless connection methods. There’s the 2.4 GHz mode which connects via the supplied wireless dongle or you can switch to Bluetooth mode.

Alternatively, if you want a wired experience, there’s a USB-C port that doubles as a charging port for the on-board lithium battery.

Speaking of the battery, Razer advises that you’ll get about 8 or 9 days on a single charge when not using the backlit keys, or about 13 hours if you are.

Included with the keyboard is a soft-touch cushioned wrist rest which take the strain out of hours sitting at your computer.

The keyboard is compatible with the whole suite of Razer products and multiple devices can use the same wireless receivers using Razer Synapse.

So, what do we like about the Razer Pro Type Ultra Wireless Mechanical Keyboard?

The Razer Pro wins when it comes to comfort, response time and versatility – and being able to switch devices and connection methods with a switch is super handy.

Plus if you’re a fan of Razer gaming laptops and peripherals, you’ll love how it complements the aesthetic of the rest of the range.

Razer advertises that they use silent switches and sound dampening foam, they forgot to mention that they installed these parts on one of world's loudest keyboards.

#razer makes great keyboards either way. Disagree about it fitting into the rest of the Razer lineup, as they're more known for the black/green aesthetic. Probably still a great product .
