Wow!!! I feel real sorry for the cruise industry. 😳Have you ever tried to get your money back from a cruise ship company?

The cruise lines are not registered in the US so they are not entitled to bailout money.

Who said that infrastructure in the United States was deteriorating. The cruise ship port just finished at Port Canaveral shows that 'infrastructure' in the U.S. is in top shape.

I haven’t been on a cruise in 20 years, so it doesn’t bother me. I’m guessing the government didn’t bail them out b/c they are registered/headquartered in other countries.

Excuse me, but since these ships are registered in other countries outside the United States to avoid paying taxes. Why should they get a break?

There's Wendover Production and then there's everyone else

Here a thought go back to the ports that these ships fly their flags under and see if they will give them a bailout. Not too big to fail.

Despite the methods of how cruise lines work, this specific video is talking about the PORT and how it functions in that locations economy. A lot of people just went straight to the cruise lines... regardless, the cruise/travel/hospitality is the largest affected industry globally including all other business and industries that rely on that sector.

You don't abide by U.S labor laws or pay U.S. taxes. You haven't and shouldn't get U.S. taxpayer money or support.

They should begin scrapping the cruise ships or converting them to container ships.

Maybe the owners should have invested in stocks and stopped buying coffee and avocado toast.

Longshoremen? My cruise ship had to wait 90 minutes until a Cadillac drove up to the bollard and a heavyset guy rolled out to release the mooring lines.

Awe, those poor criminal enterprises struggling to remain profitable. Maybe we should give them free room and board in our prisons so they don't end up on the streets begging for food.
