I was told to ignore the PPI argument by some monitor guru at a nearby tech store. If you can notice it on a 5" phone, you could certainly notice it on a 24"+ monitor.

i just went from a 1080p 24" to a 1440p 27" and play any high fps shooter games on 940p (67%) dlss and its looks better than 1080p. also how far away you sit from the monitor will affect this

No, you are complatley wrong, 1080p is not better but sometime (the description) and in general we compare the same inch vs the quality: 27inch 1080p vs 27inch 1440p, so the 1440p is way better

When you compare apples with apples 1080p has 105ppi and 1440p has 140ppi
