It would be really nice if they would use external GPU technology in the dock similar to some laptops so we can get 4K resolution and/or a reasonable frame rate when plugged into a TV. Then off the dock, it can switch to the SoC graphics and render at 720p or 1080p native. I'd 100% pay $349-399 for a Switch with a GPU similar to an RTX 3060 in the dock. Get a Thunderbolt license, Nintendo! Also, add analog triggers to the next pro controller.

Good video, but overly dependent on Midori and Pyoro for information. There are other leakers who have credible info and would have allowed you to connect more dots.

The "touched but not seen" thing is corroborated by an earlier leak claiming that Spanish developers have interacted with the Switch 2 through a closed box. They could use it but could not see it. Presumably there is something related to the joycons or control scheme that Nintendo is trying to keep from leaking.

You glossed over details of the shipment data. The supposed measurements of the Switch 2 are 206mm w x 115mm h x 14mm d, with an 8 inch LED (not OLED) display. Additionally, the use of UFS 3.1 for storage indicates some nod toward high bandwidth caching for third party game ports from PS5 and XSX, both platforms that heavily depend on custom storage architectures for performance. Linus from LTT famously got burned when he dismissed the PS5's storage architecture as just reading an M.2 SSD.

You didn't mention the leaks of Switch 2 being physically compatible with existing Switch game carts.

The rumor of the Switch 2's joycons or joycon equivalents using electromagnets possibly makes sense if there is some change to the way the Switch 2 docks or interacts with a dock. And yes there are leaks that the Switch 2's dock has some role to play in improving graphical quality when outputting to a TV.

Lastly, you didn't cover the DLSS 3.1 vs DLSS 3.5 vs DLSS 3.x leaks. The BOTW tech demo was supposedly put together to demonstrate DLSS 3.5 running on Switch 2, and then contradictory leaks claimed it was only running DLSS 3.1. Nvidia has just put out DLSS 3.7 as a software upgrade, so if the Switch 2 can run DLSS 3.1 or 3.5 it could run 3.7. There's a lot to unpack here.

What if instead of the Nintendo Swtich 2 it was called Freaky Switch 2 and you could play a game where Mario is pregnant

It’s natural progression that they will bring DS & 3DS onto NSO. If so, the Switch2 will need to include hardware features such as mic & cameras. For the dual screen, they will let you attached the new joy-cons to a portrait oriented screen so it will display two screens one on top of another. To put Wii on NSO, they will include a speaker on the new joy-cons. Also, they always include an additional gimmick for each new system, so this time it will be a head strap which you can insert the Switch2 into and turn it into a VR & AR headset - switch from TV to VR! (The Labo VR was a test) That’s why they have reserved Metroid 4 for Switch2 coz a FPS is perfect for VR. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was so good already so they would put the next Mario Kart in VR to create an entirely new game play experience. This is my educated guess based on the business and marketing style of Nintendo.
