I know the magnet thing is still just a rumor but this (2:08) being removable from the stand makes me wonder if there will be no way to attach any controller that use the rails (joy-cons, split pad pro etc)

PowerA released this back in august 2022, but better since it also charges pro controller. It is Nintendo licensed.

I already got a third party because I had a switch lite before upgrading to switch and I needed a way to charge joycons, so I probably won't get one unless it has some feature that makes it worth it

But the thing is Nintendo is seven years too late. If people already got these aftermarket docs why are they gonna pay the premium for Nintendo ones? They can still charge their controllers up on their old docs the same way that they’ve been doing it

I agree I’m not going to buy the switch 2 and use older technology on it. The switch controllers had so many issues last generation no because if it’s not coded right to work with the new system, it’s gonna have just as many issues because all these controllers nowadays get updates and you know they’re not gonna fully support it forever because they want you to buy new hardware. This is just trying to get a few extra bucks
