Great advice guys. I literally have to take a deep breath after stepping onto the approach and telling myself “relax” and most of the time it helps.

One thing I have noticed over the years is to stop thinking about each piece of the delivery.
If I think to much about push away I usually mess up my feet. The same is true of swing.
Keep up the informative Videos.

I’ve watched a lot of bowling tutorial videos over the years. A lot! The best advise was from Randy Peterson about creating a pendulum arm swing using gravity. Gravity being the key word here because it’s a constant, it never changes. I’ve never heard anyone else talk about it. I wish I did sooner. 😁

I'm a coach working with kids, I usually tell them to "make a full length approach with a full swing, but throw the ball as slow as you can". This usually makes them relax a lot and loosen up the swing big time.

Older, arthritic guy here, facing loss of accuracy, revs and ball speed. Using lighter, weaker stuff and still struggling, especially after the heads are drying out. Will practice, concentrating on the tips you discussed here. Thanks for the encouragement and advice. Best of luck and much success with your channel and your bowling!

I can’t wait until you guys bowl a tournament. I enjoyed the ins and outs of bowling tournaments.

My trick I started using is really focusing more on my balance arm. It allows me to just forget about trying to throw the ball and letting me focus on my position and form at the line.

Practiced this yesterday and implimented the relaxing of my hand/shoulder during set up it in league today. I found myself putting more ball weight into my off hand which helped relax my ball hand fingers and thumb. Shot a solid 590, 13 pins above avg, and felt much smoother throughout my approach. THANKS FOR THE TIP

I haven’t bowled in 92 years, I’m 143 years old now and just picked it up again. Your tips have helped me fall in love with the game again. Thanks Brad and Eric.

I’m so glad I watched this last night. I had push away and timing issues today at league. Focused on just dropping the ball into the swing and was able to battle my way to a 716 series after a 185 in game 1.

I came back to bowling after 21 years and I've used you guys to help get me back in the swing of things. After 40 games I'm average 175. Is 15 less than what I used to average but almost back so thank you guys.

This was one of the more interesting tutorials on your channel. I think a lot of my issues stemmed from trying to apply force on the delivery. It felt like a natural thing to do, but now when I watch other bowlers who are really skilled, their timing and flow is starting to make a lot more sense.

Great job Brad. you nailed it with the lag, enabling the slide for the great release.

Really appreciate this video. I feel like I am always pulling my backswing which breaks my wrist. Going to try Brad’s tip to let it hang. I had a coaching session with Mike Jasnau and he used Brad a lot in video comparisons for my game.

This is the best Brad and Kyle video so far.! Learning to relax your hand effortlessly is a large milestones/accomplishment for a Bowler. As a golfer there is a similar sentiment, which suggests that you hold the club as loosely as you can, and it works! I believe that what they’re getting at here is that you have to learn to let the ball go on the backswing so that you can allow it to release on the forward swing effortlessly, and consistently, with speed!

Watched this video many times over last 2 weeks and today I actually executed it over 2.5 games in league. I’d call it the set and go option. Instead of trying to find a time to start my push away I just get set for 1/2 a second dropped in and leg it swing. It enabled my feet to be in time and allows me to stay down at the line. Just have to let the ball hang up and wait on it. :) Thanks for that Stuff !
