Okay hear me out, the adapter is not that bad. It keeps your pencil connected to your iPad, and looks aren't everything. Your iPad is for functional tasks and that should be enough, that's what you're signing up for when you choose the base model.

I think that by leaving 1 gen pencil they gain more custumers that are on a budget. For example, i got my apple pencil a year a go for my old ipad, and the fact that this new one uses the old pencil gets me thinking that maybe i should upgrade from my old ipad pro.

I always skip the 1st gen Apple pencil for the Logitech Crayon. Plus, the Logitech Combo Touch case and keyboard will blow away that gross white Apple set up.

honestly as a college student who is upgrading from ipad gen 6 who wants a new look from my old ipad. i’ll stick it out and get it despite the apple pencil hassles and just use an off-brand stylus to save some money

as someone who doesn't currently have an apple pencil and gets incredibly anxious when I see people charge ANYTHING without a cable (like, , it's just sticking out?? every cell in my body says it's gonna snap 😭), I think this is probably perfect for me! I can't get one yet bc even budget things aren't in my budget rn, but as soon as I'm able to (assuming they don't come out with something cheaper AND better, which I doubt they will, ) I'm getting one of these :D

I went form a 9 to a 10 for the 5g capability and also because I knew it would work with the 1st gen pencil. Yes it is a pain to have to be sure to use the USB to USB cable PLUS the Apple Dongle--and just so people know the old dongle won't work unless you install a 3rd party app BlueLite which with that I was able to use the old usb/fire cable with the original dongle. Though for entry level Ipad it is a nice upgrade. Not sure why all the hate has been going around about the Ipad 10.

Hello my friend. First of all, thank you for the video. I was interested in this model, but since there is no detailed video about it in our country, I turned to foreign channels. Actually, I went back and forth between the 10th generation and the Air5 model, but in the current situation, there is a difference of about 200-300 dollars between the two models in my country. For me, it's mostly for university studies and rarely for gaming. The difference between the M1 chip and the A14 really got me thinking. Do you think it is worth paying 200-300 dollars for the difference or not?

Or like everyone is saying is …. That this iPad is supposed to be a replacement for those ppl with iPad 6-7-8 generation of iPad who uses still the Apple pencil soo makes more sense to still use iPad with that connector. For example I still use iPad 6 gen ready for iPad 11 upgrade. But I still use m1 iPad Pro. So yes so, e schools or ppl want to use that pencil. Soo I think Apple made a choice for those potential buyers. That like to use pencil but don’t want to spend lot of money to get air or pro. So they make iPad 10.

I don’t see reviewers cover this, does the pen work while charging? That would be handy for schools where kids may forget to charge the pen at idle but need the pen immediately.
