Just got off an 11 hour serving double on Saturday. This is music to my ears. We're just trying to navigate you to the best outcome so we both have a decent night, and we know how to best do that, I worked there for 40 hours a week for 4 years, and I've seen it all. I just wanna get home to my wife and son and be able to say I brought home the bacon and come home without being stressed out. Tell me what you want, don't make it too complicated, I'll communicate well with you, and we'll get through it together.

I used to be a waiter and a bartender while I was going to school so I've seen both sides but I'm sorry, as the customer it's not my role to make my server happy, it's actually the opposite. Yes there are some truly ignorant diners out there, even decades ago when I was in the industry I served my fair share of them (and also threw some out on their asses), and there are more now in this age of entitlement than ever before, and all servers should be treated with respect. But I'm not going to be concerned with "customer etiquette" to the point that I'm concerned with how I ask the server a question or if I'm "guilty" of anything that may rub them the wrong way offend them! Please! And btw; there are just as many people working in the restaurant business who act like they're doing you a favor by just walking up to your table. It goes both ways and if you work in the industry and have a problem with some of the questions represented here, asked politely of course, then perhaps you should find another vocation...one that doesn't bring you into contact with other people.

XLNT video. I am not in the restaurant business. I want restaurants and servers to make money. Tough business and a hard job. Tip well.

The slow delivery pace is annoying, I like the way it used to be.

Tightwads averse to paying for extra sauce: ketchup is almost always gratis.

They REALLY slowed down the cadence of the presenters voice. To the point where it is VERY noticeable to subscribers. Just sayin!

This is a little too passive aggressive.
I now have the urge to go to a steak house, ask the waiter for their favorite steak, order tilapia and tell them it tastes like sht and it's because of their incompetence.

My pet peeve about waiting tables is on the overnight shift the bar crowd would roll in. We had a separate reduced menu for overnights ppl would always ask for stuff off menu for 3rd shift. No I cannot go unpack all the chef equipment and haul all that food back upstairs because the coolers were locked at night. No your what you think I'd charming smile is going to convince me to put my job in danger. I'm so glad I don't waitress anymore! Also I tip 15%

It’s who you talk to, server so they can understand what it is your look for on your menu 😊

Most servers just want to get through the day. And most are not smart enough to really be this good.

This is why younger people want to avoid servers in restaurants. Can I get the Soviet cafeteria please.
