For the first stop of my Interrail Erasmus, I headed to Madrid for the day. Whilst writing the journal entry in Retiro Park, I started thinking about what my Erasmus year in Madrid would've been like if it wasn't cancelled due to the pandemic. Was having one of those days (or years) where it felt like everything wasn't working out. I am usually a firm believer that I only need 'just enough light for the step I'm on'. I absolutely loved this video. I just finished a semester abroad in Madrid, and had to move back to the US. I fit perfectly in madrid, so it’s been hard adjusting to a place that doesn’t really feel like home. Hi Lucy, I have discovered your channel a few days ago, and I love the way you create your videos. I’m from madrid, and due to the pandemic and other things, I couldn’t go on Erasmus, what was my biggest goal in the university stage. wonderful! I really can't describe how much that moves! It is true. When my first boyfriend cheated on me I thought it's a nightmare and such bad luck but this just made me who I am today so it was actually such good luck. When I got my current job I thought omg I'm so lucky that I found something but it really didn't fullfill me at all which turns out to be more of "bad luck". But I think it's a beautiful cycle. Bad luck turns to good luck which turns again into bad luck and out of that something new turns out :D
