ISTJs are different from each other. Sure, we think in similar ways, but each human is unique. Besides, sometimes ISTJs procrastinate too. We can feel pain too. Were not robots.

it's scary how accurate this is....I did the test out of curiosity but it's like a mirror to myself...

ISTJ here. Early adult life careers was Army Air Defense, Corrections Officer, Deputy Sheriff. Then truck driver for 16yrs. Trucking is great being able to plan daily trips and activities. I can plan a trip down to 5min accuracy regardless of the length whether 200 miles or 3, 000 miles.

It’s crazy, it’s like a description of me. One main issue my adult child has with me is the perceived lack of empathy. I do have empathy, but I am more result-oriented and pragmatic. And I communicate rather manly (object oriented). But I do give affection, so that’s not 100% accurate.

Although I gotta say I grew into being a full fledged ISTJ. In my twenties I was all over the place, moving frequently, a risk taker, tipping my toes into this and that and moving on, when I thought I’ve learned the lesson.

I’m here cause my husband is an ISTJ. Fits him like a T: dependable, disciplined, family-oriented, loyal and he’s so loving when it’s communicated🤣 He doesnt make friends easily but when he did, they’re friends for life and he’s very trusted by his friends. It’s so crazy cause when we first met I joked and told him he should have been an accountant because he has such good work ethics, he’s very disciplined about having enough sleep and rest, and he’s also the Fantasy league’s commissioner. He’s a mechanic with accountant’s mentality. It gives me chill reading about his type. I can’t wait for him to watch the video about mine 😆

INFP. Both parents are ISTJ. It's a very practical household, and I need to plan ahead for visits and think carefully about how I communicate if I want a good conversation, because they dont understand my preferred communication very well. They also find a lot of new ideas to be boring or a waste of time, so I can't stay to long, or I get bored because I dont have anyone to share new ideas with. I dont know if it's an ISTJ thing, but parents are not huggers or maybe appear that warm 😅

Why do so many people think ISTJs are robots? I'm FF-Si/Fi-SC/B(P) #4. It's ISTJ. I often feel strong SF-sleep. SF-sleep can often feel intense emotions and nostalgic for the past. Five years ago, when I was in senior high school, I met one of my kindergarten classmates whom I hadn't seen for twelve years. It was because I heard her name by chance, which sounded familiar to me, and got to know which class she was in during a meeting organized by my school, that I could find her. I went looking for her and met her in a P.E class. Her class and mine had P.E together. I was overwhelmed with strong and irresistible excitement. I felt it was so romantic to meet someone whom I hadn't met for so many years. It was a meet across time. I was so nostalgic for those days, my kindergarten days, which I'm still nostalgic for. It was a meet that connected my senior high school days and my kindergarten days.
