Super Moist Banana Butter Cake

How to make a super moist banana butter cake.

Here's what you'll need:
3 medium overripe bananas (225g) or 1 cup when mashed
3 large eggs
1 cup brown sugar (200g) or dark brown sugar
1/2 cup butter (115g)
2 tbsp oil (30ml)
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract (8ml)
2 cups cake flour (240g) or 2 cups all purpose flour (250g)
1 tsp baking powder (4g)
1 tsp baking soda (4g)
1 tsp salt (4 g)
3 tbsps milk (45ml)

Hello Weng - I have made this cake today and it is delicious - I ate two large pieces after my dinner, spread with unsalted butter! My husband loves it, too, because the banana flavour is not too strong but makes the cake moist and springy. Next time I make it I think I will add a little cinnamon and some chopped walnuts just to try. Thank you for all your great recipes and easy to follow videos. I made this cake today it was so moist and filling, it doubled in size and was perfect, i used extra olive oil for I cannot stand vegetable oils. Loved this cake so much thank you

Great recipe. I reduced the brown sugar from 200 g to 180 g since I don't like too sweet. It was still too sweet for me and I think I can reduce another 10 g. I baked it in an 8"x 8" pan and the resulting cake looked great without any crack. I tried many other recipes and this one is the best!
