Most of them don’t want change, it’s rare and your right the only way is vis narc collapse and there is a small window where you can talk sense into them, but most don’t want to change. So don’t waste time expecting a narc to want to change.

Thank you so much for these kind words. I am just figuring out that I was in a relationship for 11 years with a vulnerable narcissist who discarded me (as they used this word to describe the end of the relationship) one month ago because I am a full-time medical student and did not have much time for him during the last 5 semester and even busier another 5 semesters is coming. I am heartbroken and going through an unimaginable pain. I was extremely supportive of him during his studying, financially, and emotionally, physically doing his assignments. He told me he met someone and that he did not feel loved anymore in our relationship. He ended everything with me in a 5-minute telephone conversation. Despite the excruciating pain of losing my love, and a friend and finding out his nature I am still feeling sorry for him. He did not choose to be like this, childhood trauma and neglect from the immature mother and a violent stepfather made him as he is. He is extremely intelligent and talented. I wish to be possible some kind of therapy for him.

One of my friends from College is a diagnosed narcissist... He had to do a lot of work to deal with his personal issues and learn empathy... My friend is tall, very good looking, smart & works as a Mathematician, and rich so it was difficult for him to parse the world in terms of him being worthy of affirmation versus his natural narcissism. In one of his previous videos he said that.... Understanding is a concession.
Just because you understand doesn't mean you need to endure the suffering. He is a professional and so a concession of understanding is in some way an obligation to his clients. In my studies to unweave the web of my childhood adversity. I came to give a lot of concessions of understanding to a lot of people.... Before myself. I've endured a ton of unnecessary crap from people and am forever thankful for this mans work and contributions to our society.

A Narcissist is a person that calls every other person they can’t pull one on a Narcissist. And I have no empathy for these modern women who do that. They chose fear over accountability, they aren’t even my name.
