this qualifier should be seen to SERIOUSLY limit the application of the 1st law. IN ORDER for any system to be closed, it would have to be
opaque to ALL types of radiation (including cosmic rays)
non-reactive to gravity or magnetic forces, while
NOT absorbing any Energy (from external sources)
in addition, all possible systems are In Motion, moving around in
a sea of Energy and mass; called the Universe.
