I press like on any food short that actually shows them eating the food. So many creators forget that it is essential to give the viewer the vicarious experience of actually tasting the food, it drives me up the wall. Thank you for not forgetting.

Ok, it looks like trimmed sirloin, 1 large carrot julienned, about a quarter of a Napa cabbage julienned, a bunch of green onions (scallions, green only), he smacks 5 garlic cloves and chops them fine;, then 2 bundles of Chinese egg noodles (they're yellow, chow mein noodles, softened in water but I can't tell the temperature, probably at least warm, drain and rinsed, let drain); then a sauce of 2T light soy sauce (green plastic top), 2T rice vinegar (it's a watery looking fluid, but I can't tell if it's seasoned or plain), 1T Lee Kum Kee panda oyster sauce (it's a tapered bottle), then maybe honey? 1T (viscous and golden, I don't think it's toasted sesame oil), and then 3T corn starch. He uses neutral oil in a hot wok. Adds the garlic, then sirloin, then carrot and cabbage, then noodles, then scallions, then sauce. I think he sprinkles sesame seeds on as a garnish? It sprinkles lightly, light color, and I doubt it's pre-grated parm, lol.

It’s always nice to see a chef cook and see he experienced and scholing and a restaurant kitchen. Such a relieve compare to most of the Youtube chefs.

I love beef chow mein! You make it look so doable. I'm a single mom with a toddler and this seems like something I could actually pull off on a week night. . . I'm going for it!

You make everything look so easy to make. I try and it takes me atleast an hour. But I'm going to keep watching your videos and try until I succeed. It would also help if you mentioned the measurements of the ingredients. You're an awesome chef. Thank you for sharing.

How long did you boil those noodles? Or was it just the quick soak? Their best steamed and then boiled for literally 30-60 seconds In my opinion. Steam them in a wok on a grate lid on for just a couple minutes.
