Third time I have made these now, they are delicious, so easy and quick to make too. They have just the right amount of fruit in, I normally over do it with the fruit, but these are perfect. I like mine with lots of best butter. Going to try the cheese ones this weekend. Many thanks, lovely recipe.

These are nearly as good as mine lol. Only joking they look absolutely delicious. I made some for the very first time a few days ago ( new to baking ) using a very old Be - Ro baking book that has been in the family for over 50 years. The scones turned out lovely.

They are perfect ❤ was that clotted cream ? Has to be clotted and nothing else .

Phew! I thought you’d almost blown it there at the end when you initially added the jam and cream on in the wrong order. Masterfully pulled back with the second half though!
