Much easier way to push the pistons in initially to remove caliper from carrier is to pull on the caliper after removing sliding pins. That will give you enough clearance to get the pads over the lip of the disc.
Then use old pads to fully push pistons in to clear discs and new pads.

Worked in a garage as a kid so not totally incapable but thanks to your video an IT guy with 4 herniated discs in my back just did this job. About an hour a wheel. Thanks so much!

How did you place your jackstand on the edge of the frame where the jack goes to raise the car?

Thank you, Cameron! This was so helpful today when I was swapping my front brakes! Pretty sure I got the exact same kit from FCP Euro too!

Having upgraded my A6 TDI with a BBK, one area I would suggest people think about is flushing the brake system based on Audi recommendations. A good pressure bleeder can make this easy, and it's often overlooked.  For the brake bedding process, I think it's key to NOT come to a full stop as you bed the brakes. Coming to a full stop while the rotor are hot will cause uneven material bonding to the rotor. I segmented my bedding into 3 steps, 30 down to 5mph (light braking X2, medium braking x2, hard braking x2 again do NOT come to a full stop), 45 - 5 mph (same process as previously mentioned) and 60 - 10 mph. I tried to let the brakes completely cool in-between each 'segment', and then repeated the process later in the day. After the second bedding, I let the brakes cool while driving and I did then did a couple of very hard brake hits engaging the ABS to make sure everything in the system was good to go. Proper brake bedding will leave a blueish hue to the rotors that is even and consistent. Thanks for doing this!

Great video as always. I have been recently watching most of your videos and can't thank you enough for showing this to the world. I do have a request if you haven't covered already but do you by any chance have a "jacking the C7" video ? I see that you jacked the car on car jacks but is there a center point in the C7 where you use the hydraulic jack and then put the jacks ?

When doing one side of the car then moving to the next side of the car how do I turn the wheel is there a certain procedure I should do or should I just put in accessory and turn the wheel I can imagine you probably shouldn’t press the brake right?
