Thank you so much for posting. My 2016 Silverado is in the shop right now because of that noise! There is hope 😅

This short gives more questions than answers. How are you able to make it turn, is it disconnected? Is it on a lift with the motor running, is that the engine we hear? Does this require a complete replacement or is this something a DIY'er can repair?

hmmmm seems like somebody forgot to press the carrier bearing on that side. Drugs.

Looks like a bit of glue is needed. Nothing too serious😂

No planetary bearings to hold in place?

Didn’t just make a clicking sounds when accelerating or all the time ? Because I hear a clicking noise in mine only when I go from a stop and I have to press on the gas harder than normal if I go smooth it doesn’t click

600W ("steamoil") and some sawdust will fix it.

What could it be if it is intermittent? Does it anywhere from about 40 to 80 it will like hum and vibrate quit for min and do it again. I think it may be a wheel bearing because the right rear seal is leaking. Ive checked the u joints and dont seem to have any play.

No a case of The wiggles at the end of the bearing it looks like. Very ugly place to get to. Good luck fixing it

Mine only does it when I put it from the park to drive - it's not every time it's like once a week or every other 2 weeks. What could be the issue?

Ok. So what is that? Carrier bearing? My 02 f250 is making a random clunking that I feel on floor board and when I turn at a slow speed. For the life of me. I searched and called and no one knows what it could be. They just say buy a whole new one
