This is what I do:
Remove the springs
Disconnect the swaybar
Mount the coilover and wheel
Turn the steering wheel to max angle
Lift wheel till bump stop is fully compressed (or not) and try to turn the wheel
If it spins freely, reduce the coilover body height. If not, do the opposite until it does
Then increase the coilover body height by 3-5mm (your bump stop isn't fully squished)
Do that for all 4 corner (skip the steering wheel parts for the rears)

Now here's the funny thing: Springs...😊
If you picked out the correct spring then:
Working or max deflection is greater than suspension travel
Static droop is greater than static compression travel (the more the better)
Helper spring may be required if you can't do math

Start by setting preload base preload, turn the perch by hand until tight then lock it with the collar.
This is UFO stance fitment.
[Intense Math Redacted]
Add more preload to adjust ride height.

Da da you're done! 😂

Couple things.

1. Get some helper springs.
2. Preload is a fking myth if you have something to keep main springs seated at full droop.
3. Use shock mount height to tune for your bumpstop's engagement, DO NOT use it for ride height.

front end to soft? keep spinning the preload until you can’t anymore and bam you’re static

This video he’s showing how to set 5mm of preload. Not everyone wants to run preload

Like this comment if you hate people who say follow for part 2 but don't link part 2

No… don’t do that, get coils with pre set pre-load, don’t kill yourself.
