That is the best video on getting these screws out that I have ever seen fighting fighting fighting until I watch this thank you. I guess you just have to be careful whacking it, maybe put a block of wood up there before you hit it if you’re gonna reuse the rotors. but I was putting on new rotors, so it didn’t matter. It’s not gonna hurt anything to hit it. Those screws aren’t that strong you’re not working on a power wheels

NOPE ! The back three threads are usually corroded really badly and get seized up if you try to unscrew them NORMALLY. They are too long for a reason. The purpose is to eventually strip the head rendering you dead in the water because now you cant get the rotor off or put the wheel back on WITHOUT IT WOBBLING BADLY. PERFECT DESIGN ! ! AND YOU OWN IT ! !

As a Mechanic that is effective in Damaging the rotor. Great job. Now when the customer gets rando vibrations and the stutter stop. Are you gonna say that that was not yur problem? Let's not forget about the excessive pad ware.

Well if the brake rotor was not junk before you whacked on it with a hammer it is now! A couple of taps on the screws would have got the screws broken free AND saved the brake rotor.

Even when I see people using manual impact drivers, I just use my dewalt with the correct size bit and it comes off easy
