Theorists, for the love of science I have eaten a Christmas tree TWICE and tried wearing bread loafs on my hands for gloves. There is almost NOTHING I won't do to learn. Fun mildly related fact, in the UK its very common to have washing machine and occasionally a drier in the kitchen so the problem of having two separate rooms is already not a problem over here.

It should be mentioned that food can look and taste cooked sufficiently, while still being unsafe to eat. It really should have had a temperature probe of sorts, especially if the laundry can indeed affect the food.

When I was stationed in Texas one of the locals from church would fix his award winning brisket in an old dishwasher. He said it took 13 hours, but to this day it's still the best brisket I've ever had.
