I want to correct my previous comments. After taking the Romeo and juliet 5 combo to the range. And doing further research into optics. This is an absolutely amazing optic for price!!! I was so used to shooting at full extension with my stock, I changed that to just one click out from base. It was very uncomfortable at first but once I got used to the feel of my rifle in that configuration it really started to change. Just picking it up multiple times throughout the day and really trying to get use to it and shouldering and finding sight made a tremendous difference. Then taking it to the range is when i really fell in love. Its a different feel from the wide open iron sights or red dots you really have to put your nose on that charging handle and bite your cheek to the stock so it was a different shooting experience, more immersive imo. I will say the one negative is with my stock being so close i tend to rake my fingers on the edges of it wile charging the rife. I feel as if a aftermarket more chunky charging handle will fix this issue though. For the time being the bloody fingers was worth the fun. But it is a fix that needs made. Maybe even a different butt stock. Overall upon a proper review there is better optics out there but for a magnified red dot set up at this price point it is a tremendous deal on a pretty good piece of equipment that just takes a little getting used to. Sure you can spend 2k on an Eotech setup but not everyone has that. This is perfect for those people. Any lpvo, prism, magnification at all will have a sight box and eye relief. Nothing will ever be as good as red dot or iron sight. I was and still am considering an lpvo if sorts but i am satisfied for the time being

Thats a juliet 3 micro btw. Lol at everybody complaining about the eye relief. Its actually pretty good for a magnifier. I have the Romeo 5 and Juliet 3 (not micro)

I have this setup and I changed out the MSR for a Romeo 5. Using the MSR on my .22 pellet gun.

me too. LPVO from Vortex or PA with a side or top mounted red dot kills these set ups. Looks so cheap to me now even if it is a TAD quicker in CQB

I used to run a similar set up, then switched to an LPVO. And now I'm building a second AR so I can have the option of the LPVO or red dot/magnifier lol. Magnifiers aren't bad but the LPVO has almost double the eye relief. But red dots have a truer 1x and are brighter.

That Magnifier has no eye relief, I have to fully collapse the stock to see through it.

For some reason my Msr I can’t see the dot in daylight idk if it’s too bright outside

I got this a my first into pair. I may keep the magnifier but replace the red dot with a holographic. Unless everything is longed up perfectly and your head it as the perfect distance and perfect angle the dot seems to be a little “mushy” not a clear defined dot and that is on the lowest power setting where I can still see it outside. It’s getting met decent grouping at 100, but they could be better.

I went to the store for this same optic set and thought the sight picture was horribly small with no eye relief, the vortex is slightly larger but I ended up going with an LPVO

I have a romeo 5msr on my .22 it's awesome. I'm thinkin about getting the juliet3 to go with it

Eye relief is very short. Can't get it to work on any of my AR rifles. However I paired it with a Romeo 5 on an AK Master Mount and it works ok on my AK47. The AK has a shorter stock and the master mount allows a further setback

i have thiis same set up but my dot is blurry and focusing it doesnt help. any tips?
