There are dozens and dozens of online forums comparing various LPVOs in the budget range. For anyone trying to figure out what they can afford and should get, it is an exercise in futility. The Tango MSR is as good as any other 300 LPVO, and probably bette than most considering the Sig backing and mount included.

I put 1-8 tango msr on a m5e1 aero 16" 308 rifle, cant beat it for the price and it comes with a nice mount, couldnt be happier with it,

Im no Budget guy but primary arms has the best all around lpvo especially if you want a durable none $1200 optic and if your prior military you will be very familiar with the reticle as it was in our acog

Fire field makes a good LPVO for cheap, but a sig LPVO for $300 sounds amazing

For 300 bucks I'd rather spend it on a primary arms microprism, but the coyote color on the sig looks great and it's the probably the best budget option I've seen for that price range for an LPVO

Swamp Fox Arrowhead 1-10 Guerrilla dot moa in green does the trick for me. At 1x I’ve got both eyes open and see a very crisp clear reticle on my target. At 10x with my non dominant eye closed I can engage out to 600+ yards with the same crisp clear picture. In May I will turn 60, anyone close to my age will understand.

Regularly had at around 400 smackers with German class in a chinese tube. Works greatbwith red dot brite illumination
