He is telling truth. Today your intelligence is determined by how much you remember. That way of thinking is on its way out the door. Remember when you were a child the teachers would say " write out your math work, when you get older you WILL NOT have a calculator in your pocket at all times." Look at us now! Almost all the people I see are looking at their phones 24-7.

As an educator since 1980 and now trying to retire here is my take on the state of education today.
500 yrs ago knowledge was rare and very valuable. Books were rare. So we valued memory and much education especially for the masses was by wrote. Today we are awash in knowledge(data) We don't know how to deal with it all in fact we can't. We can't even trust it to be fact. But still today we are teaching kids that regurgitating facts accurately is being educated and the key to success. It's much easier to grade a multiple answer test than grading a blue book essay. Governments legislate standardized testing in an effort to qualify teachers competency, so of course teachers will and must keep pushing facts to keep their jobs.

We have forgotten the purpose of education.
The purpose of education is to teach people how to learn. A bit of inspiration is nice as well.

Problem with education system is that they teach blindly to trust books which can be wrong at times, specially talking about our history.

1 thought is different of perception, we have thought thinking, we have perception sensing, we can change our perception and thought, we can not change sense and think. we sense more to live more and think when is need. 2 when there is need, we sense to live and when is need we think. 3 we sense to have perception, perception change our thought. 4 what i need to have life is what other need to live. 5 life or living as what it is to keep living
