I’m enjoying your channel. I’m considering visiting Moldova this summer. I have a question. Do the people that live in nearby villages come to the large market in city center, or do village people rarely come to the city to do their shopping? I’m interested to know both city and villagers and interview on my journey. I thought the Piata Centrala might be good place to meet both groups

What happened to the jews in Moldova is not nearly as horrible as what happened to the romanian/moldovan local people. Almost 2 millions starved to death during the organized famine, got killed and thrown into common graves that are scattered around the city of Chisinau, hundreds of thousands got deported to Siberia in cattle trains, stuffed like sardines into a can. You should mention that, because as terrible as the jew's faith was, it is not more important that what the Moldova people had to suffer. Either mention both, or neither.
