A dermatologist recommended to apply moisturizer before applying Differin to slowly get the skin used to it and not to cause a shock and sudden irritation. Hope that helps to everyone starting out like myself.

can you do a video showing the products you used while using differin? For example, your sunscreen, cleanser & moisturizer 🤍

This video was really helpful !! I’ve been on differin for about two weeks and I am in the purging stage, my skin feels quite dry/rough especially around my nose so it’s good to know that I can gently exfoliate to help remove some of the dead skin. Thank you so much! 🥰

I am.on day 10 using differin. I am hoping for the best. I am surprisingly tolerating it well. I am following instructions from the manufacturers website. I also cut out all extra steps from my skin care. Lots of moisturizer and suncreen. Thanks for the updates!

Hi babe! I just found your channel. I’ve been using differin for a year now and I was wondering if you heard anything about it’s effectiveness going away over time? I’ve gotten a few pimples out of nowhere this past week and idk if I should attribute it to stress or if it’s losing effectiveness

I stoped using differin like 3 months ago I just got back into it today! And my question is would it affect my skin if I wear makeup while using this product? I also wax my eyebrows every month so I’m not sure if that will effect my skin?

Heyyy I have a query...I am from India and have been using adapalene 0.1% every night since 1.5 months now. A major side effect I have been seeing is...my neck is becoming red, and it's both burning and itching at the same time. My dermatologist told that its bcz the product is migrating to the neck area and since the skin around neck area is thin, that's why the redness is there. So he suggested me to either use adapalene on alternate nights and not daily, or use Vaseline on the neck before applying adapalene on the face, so that the migration rate is less. So now I dont want to apply it on alternate nights, as it will break my adapalene cycle and i have tried doing that, it resulted in a lot of more breakouts. So, i am applying a thick layer of Vaseline on my neck, before applying adapalene on my face every night. I don't know if anyone else is facing similar side effect or not.

Nvm13 (Wk1)Started by using it every other day got pimples.
Nvm20 (Wk2) decided to start using it everyday since then it was thanksgiving break for me, 7 pimples on chin 1 on forehead that had formed the weak prior gone in 3 days. Red spots left dc, adapalene helps lots with that.
Nvm 27 (Wk3) hyperpigmentation and a pimple that si about to pop out.
Dec4 (Wk4) milia or clogged pores, had them for so long dont know how to remove. Advice give pls!🙁💔 2 new pimples
Dec 18 (Wk5) 5 new pimples 2 on nose 1 on cheek, chin and forehead. Should have seen it coming ( the ones on my cheeks.)looked red, under my skin kind of like a blob i thought it was hyperpigmentation from the pimple that made me want to start adapalene but no, by that point it was barely noticeable . Turns out this would last a week+
Dec 23 (jan3 actually) i made no update but i basically kept using it i don’t remember anything.
Dec 30 to the spot that popped up all of a sudden that didnt go away after a week i decided to add panoxyl, basically got irritated and my dumbass didnt know i couldnt use adapalene got more irritated. YOU heard it here 😭 dont use PanOxyl for longer then 5-10 minutes and dont use a high percentage, anyways im just using a cleanser and moisturizer for now until next week (jan 14 ) by then ill start using it and update u
January 25 (Wk6 though lets just say week 5 cuz i messed up frfr)

I’m in need of an advice.
I had pretty bad acne at 15 and got a really good dermatologist it went away quickly
However now in my 20s, a make up product triggered that old acne I used to have and I started getting comedonal acne.
My dermatologist prescribed differine and it’s been 2 weeks I’m on it. However, I would like to know how to apply make-up on my skin? What type of make up should I buy? Should I put sunscreen before or after make up? Can you do a tutorial please?

Can I use it when I have extremely dry, acne prone skin? Also what moisturiser to use with it
