A lot of people are asking why they took our phones: it’s because there were a ton of rumors being spread really quickly making the situation much worse, but I still don’t know if it was the right move.

Same thing happened to me. Once one person makes a threat, everyone else wants to do it. Now police roam the building like guards in some video game. Really appreciate them though.

Last June I was eating lunch when gunshots rang out, it turned out that my friends brother who was trying to break up a fight was shot multiple times. He was sent to surgery and later passed. This was at Garfield high school in Washington, we had two days off and went back.

this reminds me of sm that happend at my school near the end of the school year last year. we didn’t go on lock down but we went into hold (for yall who don’t know everyone stays in there classrooms no one in the hallways, mainly used for medical emergency’s) but some kid from another school in our district snuck in to our school, rumor said he had sm with him i don’t remember tho. the funny thing is to even enter my school we need to show our student IDs, and we have a rule to not open any door the leads outside for anyone, so either the staff weren’t looking at our IDs or sm opened the door for there friend

I have a crazy lockdown story. I am the class of 2014 so it was a long time ago. In elementary school we went on lockdown for 5 hours because 2 hunters walked through the school zone with loaded rifles. Never came onto school property, just trying to get through. (Please know I live in Alaska, for a long time you could bring a shotgun to school at this point. As long as you let them know about it) (mainly because we have skeet shooting as a sport). ANYWAYS. We were on lockdown for 4 hours at this point. My teacher and I created a really dope friendship. He said he could sneak us to the cafeteria to get food because I was on the verge of puking being so hungry. We both got caught and he was suspended for 2 weeks W/O pay and I was suspended 2 weeks. We still got to eat when nobody else was able to.
