I cried during this session and I don’t know what I was crying about. I do believe that If i continue to practice this the reason for the tears will reveal itself.

I cried as soon, never felt so vulnerable to be able to trust myself in a room and feel safe to do this, I’m glad Im starting this new journey with this video

This is the longest practice I've done so far in my journey and I really needed those affirmations at the end. I had to keep repeating "I am grounded", "I have everything I need". I'm glad I started my morning with that on my mind.

As a black man, never felt truly comfortable in puppy pose. I bet you can guess why. I was taking a power class the other day and we were asked to get into puppy pose and the girl on the mat next to me called it doggy-style pose. Had me crying. Her humor helped me get through the class.

This was the best online class! Seriously the most engaging, encouraging, and enjoyable class Ive taken in literal years. Due in part to covid, I haven't felt as connected to my practice because I really love in person classes. I feel more connected to my practice having an in person guide lead my way. I have been searching online for a good yogi to follow but all of the classes Ive seen thus far have lacked a connection from my side. maybe I can't follow along fast enough or their language makes it hard for me to understand my next move..idk.
