I ask my self if VW Engineers have ever actually driven a car...
In my actual car i have a nice round knob to turn on and off the (for example) air condition. I can find it with just my fingers, and i never have to take my eyes from the road... With a touch display or gesture control you always hav to look at a monitor or at least hat to watch at your fingers that you dont touch something

Leave everything as it is. and add a perfect working voice recoginition. Dont spend the money inventing not working interfaces... Make the actual ones better.

Voice Recognition in our Skoda Octavia 3 (like a Golf 7) is really not the best. And 20 Buttons on the steering wheel dont make it a lot better...

Can't congress pass ANY laws?? Even just simple ones having to do with headlight regulations to catch up with car manufacturers that are trying to make driving MORE SAFE for the consumer...
