Quote "Hows the engine? Wait a minute...hows the suspension?"

Right there would have been perfect for him to say "hold your horses".

I like the low wide new look. I cant wait to see a bunch of these at SEMA in October.

This redesign is a real triumph for Ford. It's an ultra modern design that takes styling ques from it's heritage. I personally like this approach much better than the Challenger which looks like the "husky" younger brother of the Challengers of the 70's.

What about the Ford Falcon in Australia? The car older than the Mustang. The car that started Mustang.

i like driving my tank, i like being in my coffin with a wheel. Some things give cars an identity and the mustang has lost that sadly imo. Even in 2015 they should have given the mustang bare essentials to save on cost and make it all about the thrill of driving. That would keep it for what it is. Not a ford fusion.

Ford has got to put the 2.7 V6 EcoBoost in this Mustang and build the body out of aluminum.

I feel like Brian Cooley thinks the manual is basically dead. I don't like that. It's only dead if you don't insist on cars with a manual transmission.

Two reasons I think Brian Cooley would give for getting an automatic over amanual are:

1. Dual-clutches are faster.
The only reason a motorhead would insist on a dual clutch is for racing purposes. Unfortunately, most people in the US won't ever step foot on a racetrack. A manual gearbox is the real driver's transmission of choice.

2. Efficiency
The only way an automatic can achieve higher MPGs than its manual counterpart is when it's a hybrid or has a CVT. And I think everyone would agree that those transmissions aren't half the fun of a manual with a gated-shifter. Slushboxes are for grandmas.

I'm surprised that Brian Cooley would request an automatic trans in a Mustang. WTF is going on here?

Wesley95501  "they did their best not to bring in over seas cars"

Heh? Is that why Toyota Camry and Honda Accord are two best selling passenger cars in the US? Oh, wait, you mean crap like Fiat, Alfa, Peugot, or Renault? Yeah, we used to have them, they went broke in the US when people realized they were mechanics' wet dream and spent most of their life in repairs. Germans still sell a lot of theirs, but not as much as Japanese who are reliability kings.
