TERROR WON'T BE TAKING A VACATION. Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, or as I like to call it, H2O, was the first deviation from the original Halloween timeline. It served as a direct sequel to Rick's Halloween II, where Laurie lives a new life and has a long awaited second confrontation with Michael Myers.

Despite being on a new continuity, there are still many franchise callbacks and other secrets to uncover.

In this video, as with all my Halloween Things You Missed™ episodes, I will be joined by Jimmy Champane!

About Things You Missed
These videos point out some of the little details you may have missed in your favorite horror franchises as I analyze their meaning and why they are noteworthy. I'll breakdown every small detail, easter egg, reference, connection, motif, cameo, callback and homage that I can find! Typically, I'll cover Things You Missed in horror movies, and Things You Missed in horror film trailers.

About Halloween Ends
This is Laurie Strode’s last stand. After 45 years, the most acclaimed, revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic, terrifying conclusion as Laurie Strode faces off for the last time against the embodiment of evil, Michael Myers, in a final confrontation unlike any captured on-screen before. Only one of them will survive.

As someone who works in props, I can confirm we fill articles and paper props with random stuff all the time. Someone I knew translated the lyrics to “never gonna give you up” into old English for a letter

I love that they included Jamie Lee Curtis's mom!

1:56 Interesting little fact, Jamie Lee said she wanted to have Micheal die by getting trapped in the schools pool opening. Basically she lures him to the top part of the closed pool cover, she open it, he falls in, she closes it and it cuts his head off. That would of fit so well with the movies nickname H2O. As it stands for 20 years later and it’s a hint of Micheal’s ultimate fate.

I appreciate Miner's choice to give viewers a glimpse into the perspective of these traumatized characters by showing Michael before Brennan realizes it's Ronnie.

Nice vid Z. I always loved the cameo from her mom that’s also sad how that was her last movie before Janet Leigh passed shortly after H20. This film always felt like a Halloween mixed with Scream kind of moments. Nice vid😃 I like how the masks in the franchise are all different yet similar.

I can’t even put into words how much I love this movie, so much so that it’s my favourite movie of all time. I’m well aware that it’s nowhere near the greatest movie of all time but it is mine. Jamie Lee Curtis is incredible in it, this version of Laurie compared to 2018 Laurie is far more believable to me, the characters are well written and developed and as soon as Michael pulls up to the school gates the movie goes full throttle and doesn’t stop until his head rolls.

It has the most iconic ending, it has the most iconic face to face moment and, to me, coming back to these characters 20 years later for a showdown is more exciting than watching the original. I will never get tired of this movie and I will never get over it.

We’ve been so blessed as fans of this series. Jamie Lee Curtis has kept it alive and relevant over and over and over again and we’ve gotten more than we ever deserved with the recent trilogy. I’ll be at Ends, front row.

For me, as much as I sometimes enjoy watching 4, 5 and 6 (we do not speak of Resurrection and Rob Zombie), if Jamie Lee Curtis isn’t in it, it’s not a Halloween movie.

This is my favorite Halloween! Everything from the cast, the acting, the suspense, the MUSIC, the ENDING is just too good.

Plus, this wasn't the first film Curtis and Leigh were in: they were also in "The Fog", also directed by John Carpenter.

Also, this wasn't Ronny's actor's first rodeo with horror: before "H20", LL Cool J was in "Deep Blue Sea".

Just want to point out that Lon Chaney Jr was the one who portrayed The Wolf Man (and Frankenstein’s Monster, The Mummy, Dracula) while his father portrayed many silent movie roles in the 1920s. Excellent video as always

This is my favorite Halloween film because its so different than the rest, yet it still feels like a Michael Myers film. I just wish they did more with the new characters, especially Laurie's son who literally does NOTHING for the entire film even though they made it seem like he was gonna do something. And the mask shouldve been better, too. But, other than that, I think this is the best timeline and the most believable one. They couldve ended the timeline here and it wouldve been perfect. I also enjoy Ressurection (in a comedic sense), but they shouldnt have killed off Laurie.

It’s really tragic that Donald Pleasance passed away but it’s nice that they honor him in the opening credits and actor Tom Kane honestly almost sounds just like him
