EVIL FINDS ITS WAY HOME. At the conclusion of Halloween H20, Jamie Lee Curtis and director Steve Miner made a deal with the producer Malek Akkad to get the ending they wanted. The other end of the agreement involved the creation of Halloween Resurrection, where Michael's demise in H20 is retconned in order to keep Michael Myers alive.

The result was NOT EVEN as good as you'd expect. Despite that, we're gonna go through and talk about all the secrets hidden in the worst Halloween movie.

About Halloween Resurrection

This movie was actually my introduction to the Halloween franchise, and as a younger horror fan, I kinda liked it. It got me interested enough to watch all the other films. Now that I am an *older* horror fan, I recognize its flaws, but I have a fondness for this film that most don't because of the role it played.

The scene with Busta Rhymes kung fu fighting Michael Myers is solid gold schlock!

I am so happy that Michael headbutting the window to go on to the roof was referenced. Me and my friends when this film was released rewound it over and over again laughing so much at it. Its still a joke we share to this day. It's hilarious.

8:00 is also a callback to H20 when Laurie was looking into the glass window and sees Michael behind her and when she turns around, it was her teacher boyfriend, Will.

Funny, I was 10 when this came out on DVD, when DVD was in its beginning stages and it was a Christmas gift. It was probably one of my first DVDs I ever owned, I’ve been a true horror fan since I was a young boy. To this day, I have no regrets watching this over and over again when I was a boy. To this day, I’ll still watch it over and over again, also on streaming! Happy Halloween friends! 🎃

Before you skip to the rebooted 2018 timeline, you have to do the ninth entry in the series. The one that ties Halloween (1978), Halloween 2, Halloween 4 Return, Halloween 5 Revenge, Halloween Curse, H20, & Halloween Resurrection into one timeline and continuity. I think Resurrection was ahead of its time! It actually is a good representation of what would happen in today's world... true crime, teens/young adults desperate for attention, influencers, reality TV, livestreaming, social media etc etc.

It definitely doesn't deserve the amount of hate it gets... it's not that bad.
