I have near 200 hours and am just now getting ready to fight the 4th boss

What i love with this game is that if you wakt to, you can just chill and that still gives you lots to do.

The charm with this game lies in the survival, homesteading, building, collecting and exploring. I guess you can try to mainline the bosses but I’m completely unconcerned with completion due to me thoroughly enjoying my time doing the simpler things, plus the game isn’t even fully released so more content is on the way!

more then 50-60 hours lmao. It probably takes atleast that long for someone inexperienced to make it through the bronze age

If you’re taking your time, basebuilding, making farms, getting optional armor pieces and fun weapons I could see a single playthrough lasting upwards of 100-200 hours even for a good player

On hour 600 and just completed the plains boss. Now off to the mistlands… (my base is massive though with not a single piece on wood to get “weathered”

Without looking anything up, solo, without building anything not absolutely necessary?

400-500 hours is more accurate.

My buddy and i did a full no portal run. We just had to travel with forge materials in the boat so we could craft on site when we went somewhere

The missus and I are on Day 1012 in our multiplayer game of valheim we just finished beating the plains boss.

I was 70 hrs when i first defeated the bonemass, after that due to some cloud error my world got wiped.
This is my second run and i did it in 40 now

Man i see the comments and i think why people have so many hours. After i understand the game and biomes in maybe +10hs i started a new world with a friend and finished the queen in +180 game days. If you play like a nomad for the first 2 bosses and try to get near 4 biomes soon as possible to make a base. you could beat the game even less time.

Good spawn, would have atleast the first 3 bosses, a decent sized swamp, and the trader. A bad spawn, needs a boat to get to the first boss.
