Valleyrush is a small streamer playing a lot of variety. He's kind of addicted to Valheim nowadays, but he also plays Monster Hunter: World and Skyrim.

Edit: Unfortunately I can't respond to every message, but I'm trying to read every single one of them. Thank you for all the comments and engagement on this video!

I hear you all about Enshrouded, I guess I need to follow it more closely and perhaps I need to make a seperate video about the development of Valheim itself. Enough ideas for topics in the unforeseeable future.

Original: Hey, thanks for watching the video. Of course there were more additions, but I didn't want it to result in a lengthy list. I think I have covered the most important additions. What is your favorite content update? Let me know below.

For the next video I have some other topics in mind, including something about Game Pass and The Elder Scrolls. Let's see which one I cover first.

Iron Gate should add a dedicated UnderWorld biome after the Deep North with an extensive cave system, massive caverns and a whole new Underworld ecosystem complete with enemies, bosses, cooking and crafting options.

Me and my friends have about 2000 hours each on Valheim and have a great dedicated server. Unfortunately the extremely slow development has pushed us trying new games, such as Enshrouded which is awesome for now. Even if we get Ashlands soon, we will probably have to wait another year or more for the Deep North which would be quite unpleasant.

I wish I could be new to Valheim again. This is such an amazing game, and the joy of unlocking new stuff that you know nothing about is great

They should add a large deep ocean section of the map with an Island in the middle only reachable by a large ship. Could have a large boss around the island, misty areas, and different ocean creatures to fight and farm.

I wrote this off when it first came out and can't believe how stupid I was.

Just got the base game this week and I'm absolutely blown away by the scope and variety of this game, especially for the actual file size. It's just mind boggling how the devs tailored it in such a way that it maximizes utilty by reducing texture size and unnecessary polygonal detail.

The game itself is so efficiently constructed that it fuels its immersion, which is a commendable feat that deserves more recognition.

The one thing I want would be more decorative items. Like a flowerpot, or other fun stuff like that that you can just place to make your base look pretty

At this point, the sea portion of the game is starting to feel tacked on. It's mostly there to be an added inconvenience for gathering ores, it seems, since you can't use portals when carrying any.

More ship variety would be nice, enemy ship NPCs and naval combat, more creatures, maybe sea-specific resources that arent quite as niche as the leviathan barnacles, and maybe more water features like whirlpools or partially submerged structures. Maybe reward exploration by improving ship stats as you reveal more islands.

There's so much they could do with it.

I put about 90 hours into this game when it came out. Glad to see it has eventually gotten some nice content updates once I stopped playing. I think i'll have another go once the new zone is added. Glad I found this video to show me what's been going on!

I absolutely ADORE Valheim, it scratches an itch I didn't previously know existed.

We did an interview with Grimm from Iron Gate. To my understanding, the ocean will get an update but will not include a boss. After Deep North drops we will get 1.0 release. Grimm also mentioned that they intend to have mod support after 1.0, so that kind of gives us an idea where the game is going.

Modders have fixed all the QOL problems in Valheim. I would never play this without mods now. Saved 100 hours of grind for sure

Thank you for the update. I used to live in Valheim but left before Mistlands. Excited to get back into adventure and decorate. My wife does the building.

me and my boys played this game back before the difficulty and world modifier settings update. Safe to say if not for that update, idk if my friends would have hopped back into and completed it. It just wasnt rewarding enough to lose everything and skills in an already hard game. Im glad we did tho because this is one of my fav games. cant wait for ashlands. there isnt a survival game that im now not relating to valheim in terms of quality

Valheim was a solid foundation

But its potential died when they stupidly went to the Biome route rather than RPG route

game would have been so much more good with classic rpg systems from the begining

- large variety of monsters

- monsters that spawn with special abilities

- spell/skill to learn

- items that drop magic rare unique with different affixes

The fact that the artisan table has been out for about two years and it still only has three uses for crafting items is actually ridiculous.

They should incorporate some of the mods into the game to tithe people over. Fpv, trash and recyle items, smart conrainers, and better spears come to mind.

I started Valheim in late June/July then sunk almost close to 700 hours, 3 solo runs from normal to very hard difficulties and No-map kept it fresh as time went on for me and honestly I do enjoy the slow grind at the start than being stacked.
